The Purpose of Wretched Quest!

Welcome to the world of WRETCHED QUEST. The front end of WRETCHED QUEST was built as a simple text based RPG world modeled after numerous table top RPG's, MMO's, and various other RPG games. The main purpose initially was for the developer to familiarize himself with several database and encryption libraries. The back end of WRETCHED QUEST was designed to be a foray into basic machine and deep learning. Essentially over time options available to you, interactions with NPC's, and your overall experience will change as will the game world itself.

The theme is loosely modeled after the Ancient Roman Republic (Gladiator's, Slaves, Different City States, etc ... ). If you enjoy table top RPG's and endless interaction with RPG Fantasy Worlds, this game might be for you.

Characters and NPC's

Politicians, Gladiators, Slaves, Whores, and More!

At some point your created NPC will show up in the game. They may rise to stardom over time, or die in their first interaction with a player or other NPC. Death is permanent for NPC's.

You may save enough money and purchase a Ludus, offer to manage a Ludus if positions are open, or even become a gladiator yourself.

All NPC's gain experience, wealth, and fame just like you do, the difference is for NPC's death is permanent.
